TOP QUALITY RED AND ROSE WINES FROM COTES DU RHONE VILLAGES SEGURET
Welcome
SET IN A SECLUDED VALLEY between the picturesque village of Séguret and Mont Ventoux, Domaine de Mourchon was established by the McKinlay family in 1998 with the purchase of 17 hectares of mature vines. Constructed to the highest modern standards, the new winery was completed in 2000.
Our TERRACED HILLSIDE VINEYARD, at an average altitude of 350m, is predominately clay and grey limestone which, combined with its microclimate, gives this location a terroir of unique quality. Careful husbandry using natural and organic techniques - ‘culture raisonée’ as it is known in France - in conjunction with combined traditional and advanced methods of vinification, results in a well structured wine with pronounced fruit aromas and strong colours.
Now receiving international recognition and praise, we invite you to discover Domaine de Mourchon and its wines. Tastings at the vineyard
We are very active here at the Domaine with a host of international visitors dropping by to tour the vineyard and taste our range of wines. We would be delighted for you to come as we have extended our range to include La Source, a white Côtes du Rhône 2010, based on the Viognier grape mainly, and a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which has a classic blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah and comes from the famous Plateau de la Crau.
Hours: Open every day from 8-12 and 14-18Hours. Please call us if you wish to come see us on the week-end.
