SET IN A SECLUDED VALLEY between the picturesque village of Séguret and Mont Ventoux, Domaine de Mourchon was established by the McKinlay family in 1998 with the purchase of 17 hectares of mature vines. Constructed to the highest modern standards, the new winery was completed in 2000.

Our TERRACED HILLSIDE VINEYARD, at an average altitude of 350m, is predominately clay and grey limestone which, combined with its microclimate, gives this location a terroir of unique quality. Careful husbandry using natural and organic techniques - ‘culture raisonée’ as it is known in France - in conjunction with combined traditional and advanced methods of vinification, results in a well structured wine with pronounced fruit aromas and strong colours.

This Autumn - a week's holiday at the Winemaker's House

Our Winemaker’s House is a perfect holiday stay for wine enthusiasts, walkers, bikers and those wishing to relax and enjoy the many treasures that are to be found in the enchanting Vaucluse in Provence.

The last two weeks of September 2010 are still available.  This is a lovely time of year to visit our area – both for the weather and its beautiful light and the excitement the harvest brings.
